AL_A, GROSS MAX, Ricky Burdette and SEAM have together been shortlisted to re-imagine the visitor experience for the iconic Eiffel Tower in Paris.
For this concept design competition, the team is tasked to revise the approach to the 324-metre tower, rethinking access to its lifts, and improving the site’s public reception and administrative workspaces.
The winner will be announced in early 2019, with works planned to complete in 2023 – the year before Paris hosts the Olympic Games.
