The demountable modular pavilion MultiPly – lit by SEAM for engineered-timber pioneers Waugh Thistleton Architects and the American Hardwood Export Council – has toured to Italy for Milan Design Week 2019.
SEAM’s lighting integrates within the modular concept itself, with a singular element sourced from mass-production and installed identically into each module during pre-fabrication.
Through this clever application of simple, accessible equipment and programming, the lighting makes the architecture clearly legible at night.
