SEAM Director Emory Smith was invited to participate as a guest critic in final architecture studio juries at the University of Bath.
Drawing on over two decades of experience in architectural and lighting practice, Emory joined external reviewers and academic staff in offering feedback to graduating students as they presented their final design projects. The sessions provided an opportunity for open dialogue about the realities of professional practice, offering constructive perspectives as students prepare to transition from academic study into the profession.
Engagement with architectural education remains an important part of SEAM’s wider ethos. Contributing to studio culture allows the practice to support emerging designers while maintaining an active exchange between academic inquiry and built work.
