The York Minster Centre of Excellence has received multiple major honours, including the 2026 RIBA Yorkshire Award, Building of the Year, Client of the Year and Sustainability Award, alongside both the Lord Mayor’s Award and People’s Choice Award at the 2025 York Design Awards. Working with Tonkin Liu and the wider consultant team, SEAM contributed a lighting strategy supporting heritage craft, contemporary intervention and the wider civic and educational ambitions of the project
